Its certainly up there! I use Maschine & Ableton but i wouldnt say the Push is any better or any less, they are two different controllers to be honest. One is more a beat making tool that can be used inside Ableton Live and the other is a DAW Ableton Live Controller. Both awesome!! My personal choice would be Maschine for the workflow.

Unfortunately it seems the MX has been discontinued as it has been delisted by Alesis. The Transactive comes in 'Mobile', Live (smaller), and the newly announced 'Wireless (coming soon)'.

Hi @Scotland8,

Just to confirm our (Red Dog Music's) thoughts on the product: we have had some issues with the reliability of the clips on these (as our expert rightly pointed out), but they're over-all great value for money and a good solution if you're on a budget and make sure to be careful with the clip! Sound quality is subjective, but in general you get what you pay for - for most purposes these are fine.
Furthermore, if you do have any issues that are covered by manufacturer's warranty or "fitness for purpose" either we or (I presume) Soundware would be happy to swap the product out.

the clip doesnt have a problem at all , but people dont close it as it a extend full and THEN latch, people dont , they just try to force it and thats where the problem lies.

I was about to buy this but after talking to an expert in red dog music in Edinburgh I think I may pass
Why?
Well the guy there reckons its no worth the paper it's written on and they have had so many returns with clips falling off and the sound not being great despite the write up.
Any opinions?

The integration with Traktor with this unit is spot on, that is what we used in the video, so you can see it works perfectly. Additonally to all the standard transport and mixer controls, you can control extra features like the filter, effect units and a few cue point controls on each deck. For the money this is a bargain priced controller with pro features.

Build quality is awesome for something in this price range! Bigger than we first expected, so isn't as cramped to work with as the Mixage. Jog wheels are better in my opinion!

Hi Soundware,

I am also looking for a system for Zumba workouts - 2000 Sq ft area with up to 100 people.

Could the XP510i be extended with two additional active speakers of similar volume at the back of the room? If so, what units would I need?

...or maybe you would recommend another setup (including a mixer / ipod doc)?
